My Vision For This Program:

True Food Sovereignty and Security in Our Community

About Feed My Neighbour:

The program was developed 4 years ago out of a growing need to make wholesome, local food more financially accessible.

The program helped people when they became ill or other reasons for not being able to work during covid. This program is designed to provide temporary relief for people in need and is not a long term solution. Nadine is working on some ways to help people long term but is currently not ready for that.

100% of the money donated goes to families in need in the community. The Wandering Market also donates a portion on top of your donation.

This form is only for applying for food. (NOT donating, that is another form)

Last year we delivered Christmas hampers to multiple families! We even had beautiful, generous donations for a family that had sadly lost their father/husband before Christmas.

The more info you can give us about your situation, the better. In some circumstances we may reach out for verification and clarity.

My Vision For This Program:

True Food Sovereignty and Security in Our Community

I would love to see this program inspiring people to food sustainability through using the abundance of what grows here as well as through working together. I want to see classes that teach people how to make super affrodable and nutritious, traditional recipes like sauerkraut, bone broth, sauces, preserving through fermentation and canning and more.

I would love to see more people gardening and sharing with eachother and working together to provide food sustainability. There is also learning about the wild foods growing around us that we can harvest and preserve for future use.

Thank you so much!

Nadine
