From Farm To Folk (the early days)

This is an excerpt from when we were just getting started….

February 1, 2014:

Small time organic farmers that I know are not in it for the money. They believe in real food. They believe in ethical treatment of animals. And it has been a real hard go for them. They are stretched in so many ways. What if we could support our farmers in a way that allowed them to just focus on the food production? What if we could help them market and sell their food at sustainable prices? What if we could help them preserve and butcher their products? We can. When our dreams of having a farm of our own became squashed by the overwhelming responsibilities needed to be successful, I realized that I could help fill a void doing what I am passionate about. There's so many small time farmers struggling to keep up, never mind compete. Let me bring you their food. Maybe you'll join me? From farm to folk. what could mean more than our nourishment?
