I’ve put together this list of my favourite nourishing snacks. They can be eaten as breakfast or lunches or on the go. They are all free of preservatives and weird ingredients and are sweetened without white sugar.
I put notes under each recipe with local ingredients we carry.
-Sunnyside milk and heavy cream
-butter (I use some lard to replace butter as well)
-eggs to make homemade mayo
-farm fresh eggs
-mustards (prepared and seeds)
Popsicles are a great way to get kids to enjoy a variety of foods they wouldn’t normally eat. We make all kinds at home depending on what we have but I thought this recipe looked excellent.
This would be an awesome addition to soups, salads or just as a snack
